4 Ways I Have Found CBD Oil To Be Helpful For Me As A Mom

Have you had a chance to try CBD oil? Or any CBD infused products? Well, I have and I have been extremely impressed. I’m not a huge fan of the pharmaceutical industry so I don’t normally take any medications.

For minor pains such as headaches, stomach aches, or any localized pain I normally would sleep it off.??‍♀️ Usually when I’m achy that means I haven’t eaten enough or drank enough water that day. I recently began to put CBD on the corners and the back of my head when I get a headache, and I’ve noticed that the pain was lessened within 30 minutes and eventually dissipated.

So at that moment I was like, wow, I need to find out some more uses of this stuff. So here are some of the ways that I have found CBD infused products to be a help for me;

  1. Relieves Pain. As I said above my first time using CBD oil was to relive the pain from a headache, and it did just that.
  2. Reduces Anxiety and Depression. I suffer from both anxiety and depression and I have found that if I take a CBD capsule with breakfast I am less on edge about busy days.
  3. Improve Sleep. Sometimes after a busy day I just find it hard to go down at night even if I’m tired. So I usually run my feet with the oil to help me out.
  4. Reduce PMS Symptoms. My cycles aren’t as bad now that I quit eating meat, but sometimes I still have symptoms of PMS and I take a few capsules a day to help me out.

So, What is CBD?
CBD is short for Cannabidiol. It is one of the 104 chemical compounds known as cannabinoids found in the cannabis or marijuana plant, Cannabis sativa. THC is the main psychoactive cannabinoid found in cannabis, and causes the sensation of getting “high” that’s associated with marijuana. Unlike THC, CBD is not psychoactive.

The CBD oil is extracted from the cannabis plant, then it’s diluted with a carrier oil like coconut or hemp seed oil. So, it gives you the same health benefits as THC without the sensation of getting “high”.

If you’re like me, and don’t like medications then I say give it a try. It’s natural, and it’s derived from plants. I’ll definitely share more on CBD as I learn more uses.
